I have 5 yrs of experience in IP law (patents) and find it extremely interesting. I’ve talked with paralegals and legal secretaries working in other types of law and believe that IP paralegals really ARE part of a team. It’s pretty amazing to see an independent inventor’s idea become an actual patent, knowing that you’ve been involved from beginning to end. I work with amazing people and I don’t think I’d really be happy doing any other type of law. Ms. Ange has an impressive amount of experience and I applaud the way she has taken IP paralegal work outside the traditional office setting and made her career something much more. Great article!
