South Carolina
South Carolina State Representative
Diana Riglet: Education: University of California, Berkeley, Bachelor of Arts in English literature. University of San Diego Paralegal Certificate with emphasis on litigation. Continuing education courses in IP, e-discovery and business litigation.
After I returned from living in Paris, France for three years running my own translation/graphics company I decided to go back to school. I earned my paralegal certificate then. Since then I have spent eight years working as a litigation paralegal in complex commercial litigation. Most of the firms I have worked for are large international law firms in Los Angeles and Orange County, California. I also have in-house experience. My most notable in-house position was with Toyota Financial Services. I have extensive trial experience involving large, document intensive cases and have survived/thrived the most intense discovery processes. In addition, I have experience in photo, advertising and graphics and have also worked as a litigation project coordinator. I have an excellent understanding of how best to present a case through visuals at trial.
Why did I leave the glitz and glamour of the Los Angeles legal market I can hear you asking yourself? Well, I just couldn’t get good BBQ in LA. Diana may be reached via email at SouthCarolina@ParalegalGateway.org.
